Pastor Dana Sutton
Dana Sutton is an energetic, curious, engaging 50-something - the kind of person who talks to random strangers in the checkout line because he enjoys connecting with people.
Following seminary at Louisville Presbyterian – where he met his wife, Jean, who is also a PCUSA ordained clergyperson - he spent 15 years in congregational ministry and completed his D.Min. at Columbia Theological Seminary (GA). He served for ten years as a campus minister at Marshall U. (WV), then four years as a professional life coach. He and Jean (a Licensed Professional Counselor) have two young adult sons, Aaron – who is finishing a master’s degree in Environmental Engineering – and Carter – a recent college grad who is working as a soccer and strength/conditioning coach.
Things that he enjoys so much he loses track of time include: playing soccer or basketball with good friends, reading fantasy and science fiction, visiting new places or favorite familiar places (especially the desert and mountains of the western US), and trying new foods and new beers.
